The controls are simple, a digital display push button timer. At any point during the roast sequence, you can add or subtract 6 seconds each time you push the timer control buttons labeled up or down. The timer can also be overridden by tapping the "cool" button. At the end of the roast, the roaster will go into a 3 minute cool down.
The Fresh Roast SR300 roasting capacity is just over 4 ounces by volume, not weight. You can generally yield enough for 18-20 cups per batch.
One year manufacturer's warranty covering defects in the base, six months warranty on the top piece of the unit.
